the Cosmic Dance, the Sublime Orchestra, the Eternal Narrative

Someone asked me a question, WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?

I believe in Jesus Christ.

You know, your belief, what you believe, drives your entire life whether you realize it or not. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. It's what you believe that makes you the person you are. Jesus Christ is worthy of your belief, your confidence, your faith.

My belief tells me who I am and therefore, where I'm going....

My destiny is to be with Christ because I am in Christ.

Jesus is my Creator, therefore I am a creation of God.

Jesus is my friend, therefore I am a friend of God.

Jesus is my Saviour therefore I am safe from sin and Hell.

The essence of Wisdom, Virtue, Beauty, and Power is found in the person of Jesus Christ.

The 'essence of existance' is in the Great "I AM"

The value of our fellow man is found in the love God demonstrates and the fact that we're created in His image.

Everything that is worthwhile and good comes from Him.

You can get enveloped in an ocean of grace and beauty, you can experience the light, warmth & glory of the presence and love of the Creator. The sustainer of life. The Giver of Eternal Life, Eternal life Himself. Awesome!

You were given life, you were made a living soul so that you could partake in the glory and fellowship of God for His pleasure. What a privelege! What a purpose! What an existance.

Think of the stars, in their beautiful shining, the planets in their powerful orbits, the nebula in it's mysterious beauty-all these-creations of God-partaking in the beautiful, graceful dance of the universe-But NONE of these sublime objects are able to willingly, consciously, personally partake in the glory of this cosmic dance. But we, we are able to decide, to commit, to yield, to surrender, and to love our Creator and Redeemer.

What is Worth Fighting For?

True Evil is a kind of pure evil-a kind of evil that though often hidden by subtle methods, is everything that we suspected.

Although we know that evil doesn't always appear ugly and Good doesn't always appear attractive, somehow we feel that fluffy bunnies are more likely to be seen on the Good side and venomous snakes on the Bad side. But as we grow older we realie this might be a shallow way of looking at life and that a lot of people who look scary or unattractive are the most lovely people and a lot of people who are alluring and impressive are con-artists, and manipulators. We realize the world can be a deceitful place.

Nonetheless, at it's CORE, evil really is Ugly. And though it loves to sugar coat things, and appear attractive like the wicked witch in Snow White trying to offer a tastey apple...

The "Beauty" of evil is skin-deep.

There is a reason the North Korean Regime doesn't want it's people to be able to see a Christmas tree in December, or to read a Scripture verse or to express themselves---the reason in, they may be INSPIRED and for the human soul to be inspired, to feel liberated, to transcend the mundane and unspiritual-is the nightmare of true evil!

Evil people, manipulators, control-freaks, dictators, narcisists,....despise creativity and the human spirit.

They cannot be touched with the notes of Mozart's genius, or warmed by the look in a child's eyes on Christmas morning. These sentimentalities are just weakness to them.

The warming of your heart, your human emotions, your desire for beauty---your imagination for sublimity, are the fingerprints of your Creator upon your soul, Lost are saved-He has left evidence of His existance in our own heart.

This evil world will constantly try to turn you away from your Humanity. Telling you to be less sensitive, to toughen up, to be more calculating, rational, mechanical, reasonable, etc. But in fact what we call humanity, isn't humanity at all but evidence that there is more in this universe that just us humans.

EVERY human being has the heart of a poet because he or she was created by a poet-a creative Individual whose love, creativity, power and beauty-overflowed from an over-abundance into the excessive, extravagant artwork of the universe and LIFE!

The desire to feel, to be felt, to be one, to know, passion, is what brought you into being, not only in the creative act of Genesis but in the creative act of conception.

Let yourself find your own heart. but not the heart of deceit and desperate wickedness, but the new heart that was MEANT to be inside of you given by the Spirit of God that brings liberty and life and newness into the once broken, marred and condemned human soul.

The human story is a tragedy. But with redemption by Christ's blood it can become a Romance. a narrative that transcends all evil and blossoms into UNSPEAKABLE glory!

The clearer we see this good, the more easily it's opponent will contrast in our eyes. How clearly the cancerous poison of demonic lies becomes when our existance is baptized in Light.

When you smile at someone who is hurting, when you say a prayer, when you color a picture, write a poem, light a Christmas tree, treat someone with dignity, plant a garden, whenever you do Anything that is human, and good, and wholesome, and beautiful, and natural-you are in direct opposition to Evil.

Believe it or not, just like Corrie Ten Boom's prison guard HATED the birds that sang their beautiful song while she tried to torture the prisoners with a gruelling roll-call-Evil does hate fluffy Bunnies!

The Marvelllous Light and Beautiful Glory of the Living God

Both the Devil AND the world, his system, his kingdom-wanna push you DOWN as a Christian. In an unregenerate individual-false confidence, pride and self-satisfaction are used to shield the person from the truth of his/her desperate need for a Saviour, in the saved person---a pseudo-spiritual hopelesness 'I'm not good enough. What God can do with me?' Is the ticket to stifle your confidence in God and stop creativity and usefulness.

Satan and this world system want you to feel helpless.
Why do you think the government wants you to depend on them so much? Because under the care of the nanny-state-you will lose power and responsibility in your own life-spiritually and physically.

If your broke, this world wants you to think you're nobody-you're Low class. Well, God chooses to do a great many good things with the poor. The angels came first to the Shepherds not the kings!

Christian, when you feel pushed down down down, don't let it pass for spiritual humility and stay on the ground-first, get on your knees and acknowledge God, second-Let Him take you by the hand and say stand up son of man-
He said to gird up your loins with truth and stand, that was His command to us, His servnts, His children,
yet so many times we wallow around on the ground thinking we're being humble and spiritual-but the truly humble will be OBEDIENT and get on their feet!

It  can be discouraging if you identify yourself according to the world' standards. How little I have accomplished in my life according to this world! I am low class. I am blue-collar. I am not what they'd call a great man. But I am what GOD says I am, nothing else matters. What gives value to a life? God does. You are what He says you are.

God's Word says those who have been born again are---

Accepted in the Beloved
Joint heirs with Christ
predestined to be conformed to His image
Sons of God
and so much more.

NONE of these wonderful truths are said in order for us to lift up ourselves in pride, on the contrary-they are all for the pleasure and Glory of God the Father.

We are His workmanship!

We are so priveleged to be mirrors of the marvellous light and beautiful glory of the living God~

Live in these truths! And what was once mundane, daily routine, will shine with the knowledge of God's truth and Satan will not be able to knock you down into depression, false-humility and low expectations.

Do not stay on the ground, unwilling to stand and be productive and creative, Keep moving forward for God!

tryin to liberate my own mind

I have been looking for work. I have some work, but not enough. I have found it very difficult to do other things that I have to do including my walk with God because I have that nagging feeling in the back of my mind saying, hey-you're unemployed slob!

But I am doing everything in my power to remedy the situation.

Could it be another way in which God is trying to teach me to let go of my man-made religion? Well, I might as well try to learn something from this unpleasant experience.

When you have a good job, it is real easy to feel good about yourself. And when you don't, it is REAL easy to feel bad about yourself. But are either one of those things based on anything less than an illusion?

It is MY responsibility as the man of my house to provide. No doubt about that. But, I am still the same person today as I was before I got laid off and I am still just as hard of a worker.

I've been told in the past to try to see what God is teaching you in every situation in your life. So, maybe God is trying to teach me not to put as much stalk in what I do for a living. Or maybe He is trying to teach me to trust Him.

Maybe He is trying to teach me humility. But I have to admit, being unemployed is humiliating. lol i dont know why and i dont know if that's how other people feel or not. But I find my own behavior strange because I know if I score a job on Monday I will probably feel 100% better about myself and I'm not really sure if that's a good thing? Either way, I need a job.
